Are you eager to explore the distinctive sites of the Yucatan Peninsula? This one-day excursion will take you to the breathtaking Kaan Luum Lagoon, complemented by the opportunity to swim in the Mariposa and Chen-Ha Maya cenotes.

Details of the Day Trip

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel between 7 and 9 am, followed by a journey to the Kaan Luum Lagoon, renowned as one of the most remarkable natural sites in the Yucatan Peninsula.

Upon arriving at the lagoon, you’ll embark on a leisurely walk to admire the striking azure waters and the lush mangroves bordering the lake. What contributes to the vibrant hue of this Yucatan gem? Was this location truly considered sacred by ancient civilizations? These questions and many others will be addressed during your experience.

Our exploration continues as we head towards two extraordinary cenotes. First, we will make our way to the Mariposa cenote, where you can enjoy around 40 minutes of leisure time for a refreshing swim.

After your aquatic adventure, you'll likely be feeling hungry, so we’ll stop at a local eatery for a satisfying lunch. You will have the choice to enjoy a traditional Mexican dish from a wide selection of authentic recipes.

Once lunch is completed, we will proceed to the Chen-Ha cenote to bask in its stunning surroundings. This location features impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations, and you'll gain insight into the origins of these geological wonders. Finally, partake in a Maya ceremony designed to cleanse both mind and body.

The day will wrap up as we head back to your hotel, with an expected return between 4 and 5 pm.

The trip includes hotel pickup from major accommodations in Tulum, Akumal, Cancun, Costa Mujeres, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras, and Puerto Morelos. For those staying in private residences, hostels, or apartments, an alternative meeting point will be provided after booking.
