Want to visit unique places in the Yucatan Peninsula? On this excursion, we'll visit the Kaan Luum Lagoon and, as an added bonus, you'll be able to swim in the Mariposa and Chen-Ha Maya cenotes.

Description

After picking you up at your hotel between 7 and 9 am, we'll head towards the Kaan Luum Lagoon, one of the most spectacular natural areas of the Yucatan Peninsula.

Upon arrival at the lagoon, we will walk to appreciate the turquoise waters and mangroves along its shore. We will discuss the reason behind the color of the lake and its significance as a sacred place in pre-Columbian times.

Next, we will make our way to the Mariposa cenote, where you will have approximately 40 minutes for swimming.

After your swim, we will go to a local restaurant for lunch. The menu includes a choice of typical Mexican dishes from a variety of traditional recipes.

Post-lunch, we will head to the Chen-Ha cenote to explore its scenery, including stunning stalactites and stalagmites, and learn about these geological formations. The visit will conclude with a Maya ceremony aimed at purifying the mind and body.

The excursion will end with a return to your hotel, arriving between 4 and 5 pm.
