Want to visit unique places in the Yucatan Peninsula? On this excursion, we'll visit the Kaan Luum Lagoon and swim in the Mariposa and Chen-Ha Maya cenotes.

Description

After hotel pickup between 7 and 9 am, we will head to the Kaan Luum Lagoon, a notable natural area of the Yucatan Peninsula.

Upon arrival, we'll walk to appreciate the turquoise waters and mangroves. We will discuss the reasons behind the lake's color and its significance as a sacred place in pre-Columbian times.

Next, we will visit two cenotes, starting with the Mariposa cenote, where you will have approximately 40 minutes for swimming.

Following your swim, we will have lunch at a local restaurant, offering a choice of typical Mexican dishes from a variety of traditional recipes.

Post-lunch, we will explore the Chen-Ha cenote, witnessing stalactites and stalagmites while learning about their origins. The excursion will conclude with a Maya ceremony designed for mind and body purification.

We will return to your hotel between 4 and 5 pm.
