On this taco tour in Tulum, we'll follow a gastronomic route perfect for foodies in search of the most traditional and exotic flavors that Mexico has to offer.

Tulum Taco Tour

We'll meet at the established time at the OXXO Geminis supermarket to start our taco tour around Tulum.

The first stop will be at Las Cazuelas restaurant, where we'll try tacos guisados, filled with stewed meat and spices. Afterwards, we'll sip refreshing juices made from exotic local fruits at a juice shop.

The tour continues to a local fruit shop, a taquería known for cochinita pibil tacos, and a traditional tamal shop. The origin of tamales is pre-Columbian and they were consumed during ancient rituals and festivities.

Next, we will visit the Tulum market to learn about mole, a traditional Mexican sauce made with chiles and chocolate. To conclude, we'll stop at a paletería to try artisanal popsicles made with local fruits and other regional produce.

We'll conclude this experience at Dos Aguas Park after about 3 hours.
