5-day Package Tour of Tunisia

Day 1: Tunis - Sousse

Welcome to Tunis! Upon arrival, we'll drive for two hours to reach our accommodation in Sousse, where the rest of the day is free for exploration.

Day 2: Sousse - El Djem - Matmata - Douz

After breakfast, we will proceed to El Djem to visit the Roman amphitheater, a World Heritage Site. Next, we will visit the troglodyte dwellings in Matmata and enjoy lunch in a troglodyte restaurant. Later, we head to Douz for a desert tour by camel or rickshaw, depending on weather and availability. Overnight in a hotel in Douz with dinner included.

Day 3: Douz - Debebcha - Chott el Djerid - Ong Jemel - Tozeur

Following breakfast, we'll visit Debebcha and the Chott el Djerid salt lake. Lunch will be in Tozeur at the hotel or a local restaurant. The trip will continue to Oung Jmel, a film location for Star Wars. Overnight in a hotel in Tozeur, with optional dinner and show in the oasis.

Day 4: Tozeur - Kairouan - Sousse

After breakfast, we visit the mountain oasis of Chebika and Tamerza. A lunch stop in Gafsa follows before heading to Kairouan, where we will see the Great Mosque exterior and have the option to visit a traditional tapestry workshop. Return to the hotel in Sousse.

Day 5: Sousse - Tunis capital

After breakfast in Sousse, we will provide transportation to the airport in Tunis for your departure.

Accommodation

The tour includes 4 nights of full-board accommodation on days 2, 3, and 4 in:

Sousse (2 nights): 5* hotel Marhaba Palace, Palm Marina, or similar.Douz (1 night): 4* hotel Sahara Douz, Mouradi Douz, or similar.Tozeur (1 night): 4* hotel Mouradi, Ras el Ain, or similar.

Note on prices

Prices indicated for adults are per person in a double room. Children under 12 must share a room with two adults for these rates to apply.
