At the scheduled time, you will be picked up from your hotel in Tunis to start your guided tour. The first stop will be the archaeological site of ancient Carthage. You will arrive at Byrsa hill, where you will see the initial ruins of the historic capital founded by the Phoenicians in the 9th century BCE. This site features a mix of cultural heritage from the Romans and Arabs. Accompanied by your English-speaking guide, you will explore the remains of ancient Carthage, including its commercial and military ports.

Next, you will visit the Tophet of Carthage, a sacred site that served as a cemetery and sanctuary for deities Tanit and Baal. Here, you can view Carthaginian funerary and religious artwork from thousands of years ago.

After this, you will board the tour bus to visit the coastal town of Sidi Bou Said, located ten minutes from Carthage. As you walk through its winding lanes, you will notice the contrast between the whitewashed houses and the blue of their doors and windows, alongside views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Sidi Bou Said is also known for its lively atmosphere, with many shops and cafes, providing a chance for souvenir shopping and enjoying a beverage while taking in the views. After your time in Sidi Bou Said, you will return to Tunis and be dropped off at your hotel after a total of 4 hours.
