Dougga & Bulla Regia Tour Itinerary

Pick up from your hotel in Tunis is at 8 am in an air-conditioned vehicle. The excursion to the archaeological sites of Dougga and Bulla Regia begins with a two-hour drive to Bulla Regia, one of Tunisia's most important Roman archaeological sites. A guided tour will cover the history of the ancient Punic, Berber, and Roman settlement, showcasing well-preserved ruins, including colorful mosaic floors.

The next stop is Dougga, located a little over an hour away, where participants will enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant. After lunch, the tour continues to Dougga's Roman theatre, built in the 2nd century CE, which could seat more than a third of the town's population.

Following your English-speaking guide, you will explore Dougga's ruins, known as the best-preserved Roman town in North Africa, including the Square of the Rose of the Winds, the market, the capitol temple, the forum, and the baths.
