Dougga & Bulla Regia Tour Itinerary

Pick-up from your hotel in Tunis is at 8 am. You will travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to the archaeological sites of Dougga and Bulla Regia.

After approximately a two-hour drive, the first stop is Bulla Regia, one of Tunisia's most significant Roman archaeological sites. This guided tour covers the origins and history of the ancient Punic, Berber, and Roman settlement, showcasing some of its well-preserved ruins, including colorful mosaic floors.

Next, you will proceed to Dougga, a journey of a little over an hour. Upon arrival, a break for lunch at a traditional restaurant will precede the next part of the tour.

Post-lunch, the tour will continue to Dougga's Roman theatre, built in the 2nd century CE, which seated more than a third of the town's population. Follow your English-speaking guide to explore the ruins, including the Square of the Rose of the Winds, the market, the capitol temple, the forum, and the baths.

After a day of sightseeing, you will return to Tunis, arriving back at your hotel around 4 pm.
