Dougga & Bulla Regia Tour Itinerary

After a pickup from your hotel in Tunis at 8 am, you will board an air-conditioned vehicle to begin your excursion to the archaeological sites of Dougga and Bulla Regia.

After approximately a two-hour drive, the first stop is Bulla Regia, an important Roman archaeological site. A guided tour will cover the origins and history of the ancient Punic, Berber, and Roman settlement, showcasing well-preserved ruins, including colorful mosaic floors.

Next, travel to Dougga, located just over an hour away. Upon arrival, you will have a break for lunch at a traditional restaurant before continuing the tour.

You will visit Dougga's Roman theatre, built in the 2nd century CE, which could seat more than a third of the town's population at that time. Follow your English-speaking guide through Dougga, recognized as the best-preserved Roman town in North Africa, and explore the Square of the Rose of the Winds, market, capitol temple, forum, and baths, with your guide providing detailed insights.

After a full day of sightseeing, you will return to Tunis, with a drop-off at your hotel around 4 pm.
