Dougga & Bulla Regia Tour Itinerary

Pickup from your hotel in Tunis is at 8 am. You will board an air-conditioned vehicle for your excursion to the archaeological sites of Dougga and Bulla Regia.

After approximately two hours of driving, the first stop is Bulla Regia, a significant Roman archaeological site. A guided tour will provide insights into the origins and history of the ancient Punic, Berber, and Roman settlement, highlighting well-preserved ruins, including colorful mosaic floors.

The next destination is Dougga, located a little over an hour away. Upon arrival, enjoy a break with lunch at a traditional restaurant to prepare for the rest of the tour.

After lunch, visit Dougga's Roman theatre, built in the 2nd century CE, which could accommodate over a third of the town's population at that time.

Your English-speaking guide will lead you through the ruins of Dougga, often regarded as the best-preserved Roman town in North Africa. Explore the Square of the Rose of the Winds, the market, the capitol temple, the forum, and the baths.
