Dougga & Bulla Regia Tour Itinerary

After a pickup from your hotel in Tunis at 8 am, you'll travel in an air-conditioned vehicle to the archaeological sites of Dougga and Bulla Regia.

Following a two-hour drive, your first stop will be Bulla Regia, one of Tunisia's most significant Roman archaeological sites. Here, you will participate in a guided tour, learning about the origins and history of the ancient Punic, Berber, and Roman settlement and exploring its well-preserved ruins, including colorful mosaic floors.

Next, you’ll proceed to Dougga, located a little over an hour away. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a lunch at a traditional restaurant before continuing your tour.

Your next destination is Dougga's Roman theatre, built in the 2nd century CE, which once seated more than a third of the town's population. Your English-speaking guide will lead you around the ruins, where you can admire the Square of the Rose of the Winds, the market, the capitol temple, the forum, and the baths.

At the end of the day, you'll return to Tunis, with an expected drop-off at your hotel around 4 pm.
