Tour Overview

Day 1: Arrival in Tunis - Transfer to Hammamet

Upon your arrival, our team will greet you at the Tunis-Carthage International Airport and transport you to your hotel in Hammamet. After settling in and unloading your luggage, you will have the entire day to relax and acclimate before the exciting adventures that await you.

Day 2: Hammamet - Kairouan - Tozeur

After enjoying breakfast, we’ll depart from Hammamet towards Kairouan, one of Tunisia's oldest cities. Embark on a guided exploration of its historical center, where you can appreciate the intricate mosques and learn about the city’s significance in Islam.

Lunch will be in Gafsa before we proceed to Tozeur. Once there, we’ll meander through the Medina, showcasing exquisite traditional 16th-century architecture. The day concludes with dinner and a restful night at the hotel.

Day 3: Tozeur - Chebika - Mides - Return to Tozeur

On the third day, we’ll start our morning at the hotel in Tozeur, followed by breakfast. Then, we’ll venture into the beautiful landscape around the city in an off-roading vehicle. Our first stop is the salt lake of El Gharsa, leading us to the lush oasis of Chebika, where you can wander through palm groves and cascading waterfalls, visiting the ancient ruins left by the Romans.

After a restful break, we’ll continue to the magnificent Tamerza waterfall before exploring the stunning Mides Canyon, a vertical drop of over 30 meters, famous for its cinematic appearances, including the film Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark.

We’ll conclude our day in Tozeur with lunch, followed by free time to discover the area before enjoying dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: Tozeur - Chott El Djerid - Douz - Ksar Ghilane

After breakfast, we’ll set off to explore the breathtaking arid landscapes of Tunisia. Our journey includes a visit to the renowned Chott El Djerid, the salt lake famed across North Africa, before arriving at Douz, known as the Gateway to the Desert.

We will tour the local Douz market, enjoy lunch, then head towards the mesmerizing dunes of Ksar Ghilane. As night descends, immerse yourself in the enchanting experience of dining and camping under the stars in the desert.

Day 5: Ksar Ghilane - Matmata - Sfax

The next morning begins with breakfast at the Ksar Ghilane camp, after which we will board a minibus to explore the Ksour route, showcasing ancient fortifications rising dramatically in the desert.

Following our visit, we’ll arrive at Matmata, recognized for its unique troglodyte houses, known to many as a filming location for the Star Wars saga. Discover how the Berbers ingeniously converted rock into living spaces.

After lunch at a local establishment, we’ll continue our journey to Sfax. Explore the city’s rich history as you walk through its historic center, taking in the impressive walls and the 9th-century Great Mosque. Notably, Sfax is also celebrated as one of Tunisia’s leading olive oil producers.

Conclude your day with dinner and overnight accommodations in Sfax.

Day 6: Sfax - El Djem - Sousse - Hammamet

Kick off your day with breakfast at the hotel before heading to El Djem, renowned for its well-preserved ruins from the Ancient Roman Empire. Its amphitheater, dating back to 238 AD, is recognized as a World Heritage Site.

Next, we’ll explore the Medina of Sousse, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, providing a glimpse into early Islamic urban architecture. Wander through the bustling souks and the historic ribat, essential for the city's defense.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we will travel to Hammamet for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Hammamet - Sidi Bou Said - Tunis

Breakfast sets the stage for our exploration of Carthage, where we’ll visit its major archaeological sites. Stroll through the ancient ruins, including the last remaining Roman baths in Africa.

Just nearby, the picturesque village of Sidi Bou Said awaits with its iconic white homes and blue accents—a photo opportunity not to be missed!

Lunch in La Goulette precedes our afternoon in downtown Tunis. Here, enjoy free time to explore the vibrant medina, browsing the traditional craft shops and savoring the local vibe.

We’ll return to the hotel in Tunis for dinner and relaxation.

Day 8: Departure from Tunis

On your final day, enjoy breakfast before we transfer you to the Tunis-Carthage Airport for your return flight. Until we meet again!

The pricing is per person in a double room. An additional fee applies for solo travelers who will be accommodated in a single room.

Discounts are available for children aged 5 to 11 when accompanying at least two adults in the same room.
