At 1:30 pm, we will meet at the Piazzetta Reale at the main entrance of Turin's Royal Palace to begin the tour.

The palace's exterior may appear austere, but inside lies a rich history that led to its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Royal Palace of Turin served as the main residence of the Savoy House, turning Turin into the first capital of modern Italy. As we explore the various halls, we will discuss the family's influence and power.

One highlight of the palace is its renowned armoury, the second most significant in Europe. The guide will showcase notable items and share their historical backstories. We will visit key areas of the Baroque-style palace, including the main hall adorned with gold and precious gems, and the chandelier lounge.

Additionally, we will visit the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, initially constructed to protect the Shroud of Turin, but the relic is no longer housed there due to a damaging fire.

The tour will conclude at 3 pm in front of the Royal Palace of Turin.
