We will enter the oldest Egyptian museum in the world, founded almost 100 years before Cairo's. The famous Jean-François Champollion noted that "The road to Memphis and Thebes passes through Turin."
As we explore the museum's rooms, we will see sarcophagi, mummies, canopic jars, and many artifacts from ancient Egypt. The museum features an area dedicated to papyrus and hieroglyphics writing.
A highlight of the tour will be the Temple of Ellesiya, built during the reign of Pharaoh Thutmose III. The guide will provide information about this site and the museum's artifacts.
The tour will conclude outside the Egyptian Museum after two hours of exploration.
