They say that the capital of Piedmont is the city of magic. On this tour of the mysteries and legends of Turin, we'll tell you stories of mysticism and magic as we explore the old town.
Description
Alongside Lyon and Prague, Turin makes up part of Europe's so-called black and white magic triangle. Esoterism experts claim that the darkest point of this trio is the Piazza Statuto in Turin. That's where we'll meet at the selected time to uncover the city's most curious mysteries and legends. Black magic hasn't been practised in the city for centuries, though the dramatic performance included on this tour will create an ambiance of mystery.
In this square, you'll encounter what are claimed to be the Gates of Hell, although sceptics dispute this. You will also see the Frejus Tunnel monument dedicated to the construction workers who died during its building, featuring a statue of Lucifer.
We will then head to the Piazza Castello gardens, home to more stories and legends. Here, you’ll discover the statues known as the angles of Turin, which hold a secret message.
The final stop will be outside the Gran Madre di Dio church, where you'll view special sculptures, with one said to hold a clue to finding the Holy Grail. After this, we will take a bus back to the initial meeting point.
