Hike Through the Ruins of Lagoinha
At the established time, we'll meet at Rua Colonial in Ubatuba to begin this hiking tour through the ruins of Lagoinha.
During the non-strenuous hike, we'll visit the ruins of an old mill at Fazenda Bom Retiro, an archaeological site declared Historical Heritage of the State of São Paulo in 1985, aimed at preserving the legacy of Ubatuba.
This walking tour will cover how this farm became one of the largest producers of coffee, sugar, and brandy in Brazil. Additionally, historians indicate that these ruins belonged to the first glass factory in Brazil.
After exploring the ruins of Lagoinha, we'll walk to the Velo da Novia waterfall, where we can enjoy the stunning landscapes of this region.
The hiking trip through the ruins of Lagoinha will conclude as we return to the starting point after three hours of walking.
