Tour Details

We will meet at Mirador de El Salvador to start our tour of Úbeda, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour begins at the Paseo de la Rotonda de los Miradores, leading to a lookout point with views of Valle del Guadalquivir. Along the narrow streets, we will see the Hospital de los Honrados Viejos del Salvador.

Next, we will arrive at the Plaza de Vázquez de Molina, where we will visit the Palacio del Deán Ortega and the Sacra Capilla del Salvador. This 16th-century chapel offers insights into local culture and legends.

Continuing, we will see the Palacio de Francisco de los Cobos, associated with the Secretary of State of Charles V, reflecting the city's 16th-century grandeur.

We will then visit the Gradeta de Santo Tomás with the ruins of Saint Thomas the Apostle and the Jewish Houses. Our next stop will be the Convento de San Miguel, home of the Discalced Carmelites, where we will learn about St. John of the Cross. We will also visit the Plaza Primer de Mayo, historically the city's market square.

On the return, we will walk along Calle Real and conclude our 2.5-hour tour at the Plaza de Vázquez de Molina.
