Tour Details
During our tour of the old town of Úbeda, we'll revisit the history and culture of a city that was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Founded over two millennia ago and inhabited by various peoples, Úbeda experienced its golden age during the Renaissance. We'll explore the medieval streets of the historic center to discover the city's history and observe its preserved architecture.
During the guided tour, we'll admire Renaissance palaces and convents erected in the 15th and 16th centuries, when the nobility attained power in the court. We'll visit the Chapel of the Savior, where Francisco de Los Cobos, secretary of Charles I, rests. We'll also pass by historic buildings like the Hospital de Los Honrados Viejos de El Salvador, the Oratory of San Juan de la Cruz, and the Palace of the Count of Guadiana.
