Úbeda Night Tour
Our adventure kicks off at number 3 on Calle Juan Montilla, where we’ll gather to embark on our nocturnal exploration of Úbeda. As the sun sets, the enchanting cityscape will come alive, with its historic architecture radiating a fairytale-like ambiance.
Our first destination is the stunning Vázquez de Molina Square, known for its remarkably preserved 16th-century edifices. Here, we'll immerse ourselves in history while admiring the Vázquez de Molina Palace, whose radiant façade draws inspiration from Italian Renaissance architecture. Prior to our next stop, we'll take a moment to appreciate the elegance of the Marquis of Mancera Palace, the Bishop's Prison, and the Deán Ortega Palace.
Continuing our journey, we'll ascend to the Ronda de Miradores, where we’ll enjoy breathtaking vistas of Úbeda illuminated at night under the guidance of our English-speaking expert. After soaking in these panoramic views, we will proceed to 1st May Square, home to San Pablo Church, the Monument to San Juan de la Cruz, and the Old Town Hall.
Our exploration will then take us to San Pedro Square, renowned for the Palacio de los Orozco, a striking 19th-century palace featuring distinctive French influences and modernist accents. Here, we will also encounter San Pedro Church, which has been repurposed as part of a hotel following the cessation of its ecclesiastical roles.
We will also meander through a delightful section of the city near San Lorenzo Church. This area boasts captivating attractions, including the Casa de las Torres and the tale of the Walled Lady, alongside remnants of the medieval wall and the historic Granada Gate.
Our nocturnal journey culminates after a total of 2 hours immersed in the charm of Úbeda by night.
