Tour Overview

Embarking on our journey through the historic core of Úbeda, we will delve into the city's profound historical and cultural significance, celebrated for its UNESCO World Heritage Site status.

Established more than two thousand years ago and shaped by various civilizations that have settled on the Iberian Peninsula, Úbeda flourished during the Renaissance. We will wander through the medieval alleys of the historic area, uncovering the city's story while marveling at the splendid architecture that remains intact.

Throughout the guided exploration, we will appreciate the grandeur of Renaissance palaces and convents built in the 15th and 16th centuries, a period when influential nobles from Úbeda were prominent at the royal court. Our visit will include the Chapel of the Savior, the final resting place of one of its key figures: Francisco de Los Cobos, secretary to Charles I. Additionally, we will stroll past other significant landmarks, such as the Hospital de Los Honrados Viejos de El Salvador, the Oratory of San Juan de la Cruz, and the Palace of the Count of Guadiana.

The tour is generally accessible, although the second floor of the Vela de los Cobos Palace is not accessible to visitors.There may occasionally be circumstances beyond our control that result in the closure of certain interiors, preventing our access.
