During our tour of the old town of Úbeda, we'll revisit the history and culture of a city that was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Founded over two millennia ago and inhabited by all the peoples that have occupied the Iberian Peninsula, Úbeda experienced its golden age during the Renaissance. We'll explore the medieval streets of the historic center to discover the history of the city and observe the rich architecture preserved within its walls.
During the guided tour, we will admire Renaissance palaces and convents from the 15th and 16th centuries, visiting the Chapel of the Savior, where Francisco de Los Cobos, secretary of Charles I, is interred. We will also see the Hospital de Los Honrados Viejos de El Salvador, the Oratory of San Juan de la Cruz, and the Palace of the Count of Guadiana.
