Ranakpur Temple Private Day Trip

After being picked up from your hotel in Udaipur, you'll head north to the Rajasthani village of Ranakpur. During the journey, enjoy panoramic views of the countryside and small towns of northern India in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. After about two hours, you'll arrive in rural Ranakpur, known for its spectacular temples.

Your expert local English-speaking guide will provide insights into the iconic Ranakpur Jain Temple, dedicated to the Tirthankara Rishabhanatha, a sacred site for Jains. Built in the 15th century, the temple remains intact, as Jainism prohibits damaged sculptures in temples. The site is constructed of intricately carved pale-colored marble and supported by 1444 unique pillars.

After exploring the temple, you will return to Udaipur, where you'll be taken back to your hotel.
