Central Mongolia 3 Day Tour Package

Day 1: Ulaanbaatar - Semi Gobi Desert - Karakorum

At 8 am on the first day of the tour, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ulaanbaatar and begin our adventure into central Mongolia. Our first stop will be the Semi Gobi Desert, where a local nomadic family will introduce you to their traditional way of life, including activities such as milking and herding livestock. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy a camel ride over the Elsen Tasarkhai sand dune.

After lunch, we'll continue to Kharkhorin, the location of the ancient capital Karakorum. We will check in at our accommodation, a traditional ger camp, and enjoy a traditional Mongolian dinner.

Day 2: Erdene Zuu Monastery - Ugii Lake

After breakfast, we'll visit the National History Museum of 13th Century Mongolia and the 16th century Erdene Zuu Monastery. A short hike will provide panoramic views of the city and the Orkhon Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We will then proceed to Ogii Nur, with lunch on the way. You can ride a horse alongside the beautiful lake, or go ice fishing in winter. After enjoying the area, we’ll head to the ger camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Khustai National Park - Ulaanbaatar

On the final day, we'll have breakfast and set off on a guided tour of Karakorum. Afterwards, we'll visit Khustai National Park, home to wild Prezewalski horses. Enjoy lunch in the national park before returning to Ulaanbaatar, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel between 3 pm and 4 pm.
