Central Mongolia 3 Day Tour Package

Day 1: Ulaanbaatar - Semi Gobi Desert - Karakorum

At 8 am on the first day, we will pick you up from your hotel in Ulaanbaatar and begin our adventure into central Mongolia. Our first stop will be in the Semi Gobi Desert, where we will visit a local nomadic family to experience their traditional way of life, including activities like milking and herding livestock. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a camel ride over the Elsen Tasarkhai sand dune. After lunch, we will proceed to Kharkhorin, the site of the ancient capital of the Mongolian Empire, Karakorum. We will check into a traditional ger camp for the night and have dinner there.

Day 2: Erdene Zuu Monastery - Ugii Lake

After breakfast, we will visit the National History Museum of 13th Century Mongolia and the 16th-century Erdene Zuu Monastery. A short hiking trail will provide a panoramic view of the city and the Orkhon Valley. We will then drive to Ogii Nur, having lunch on the way. Here, you can ride a horse alongside the lake, or ice fish in winter. We will stay overnight at a ger camp after dinner.

Day 3: Khustai National Park - Ulaanbaatar

On the final day, after breakfast, we will tour Karakorum and then visit Khustai National Park, home to wild Prezewalski horses. Enjoy lunch in the park before we return to Ulaanbaatar, where you will be dropped off at your hotel between 3 pm and 4 pm.
