Gorkhi-Terelj National Park & Genghis Khan Statue Tour

On the day of your excursion, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ulaanbaatar at 9:30 am and set off to the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, a journey of approximately one hour.

Upon arrival, we'll explore the park's landscapes and admire the unique characteristics of the Mongolian steppe, including a rock formation shaped like a turtle. We will also visit the Ariyabal Meditation Temple, a Buddhist monastery on a hilltop.

Afterwards, we'll have an hour to explore the park on horseback, followed by a visit with a local family to learn about the traditional nomadic way of life in Mongolia.

After this, we'll stop for lunch to enjoy typical Mongolian delicacies. Once refreshed, we will head back to the minibus for a short trip to the largest equestrian statue in the world.

Following a thirty-minute drive, we'll reach the Genghis Khan Statue Complex. Standing at 131 feet (40 meters), this stainless-steel statue honors the founder and first emperor of the Mongolian Empire, and we will have the opportunity to enjoy the views from the top of the statue.

At the conclusion of the tour, we'll return to Ulaanbaatar, arriving at your hotel around 4:30 pm.
