Semi Gobi Desert Tour

Pickup from your hotel in Ulaanbaatar is at 8 am. We will travel by minibus to the Semi Gobi Desert, characterized by arid desert and a green mountainous backdrop.

After driving through the Mongolian steppe, we will arrive at the desert, where you will receive coffee or tea and a snack. A local family will explain their traditional nomadic lifestyle.

Experience desert life with an hour-long camel or horse ride through the Semi Gobi, taking in the stunning dunes and mountains.

After riding, enjoy a delicious lunch featuring local dishes such as buuz (steamed dumplings), khuushuur (meat-filled pastries), and tsuivan (noodle dish), accompanied by tea and cookies for dessert.

With renewed energy, we will take a short trekking route through the dunes for one last view of the desert landscapes. We will then depart the Semi Gobi and return to Ulaanbaatar, with drop-off at your hotel around 7 pm.
