Beagle Channel Cruise & Sea Lion Island

After meeting at the Ushuaia tourist pier, we'll sail towards the islands of the Beagle Channel, which serves as the natural border between Argentina and Chile.

The cruise will first take us near the Isla de los Pájaros, where various bird species can be observed. The journey continues to the Isla de los Lobos, known as Sea Lion Island, where you can photograph the sea lion colony.

Next, we'll visit the islet housing the Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse, where a large cormorant colony resides, and learn about the tragic shipwreck of the SS Monte Cervantes from the 1930s.

Our tour includes a stop at Puerto Karelo for a brief 20-minute guided tour, allowing time to photograph local wildlife. After this walking tour, we will return to the boat for the cruise back to the starting point, concluding the 2.5 hour tour.
