Laguna Esmeralda Hike

After pickup from your hotel in Ushuaia, we will head towards the valleys of the Tierra del Fuego province. Following a 20-minute drive, we will arrive at the starting point of our hike, crossing two glacial valleys: the Tierra Mayor Valley and the Esmeralda River Valley.

We will walk for two hours through forests formed by trees and glaciers. At midday, we reach the Esmeralda Lagoon, known for its emerald green waters. Here, we will enjoy a picnic with fruit, alfajores, empanadas, and warm tea.

After recharging, we will return along the same route, taking just over two hours to reach the bus heading back to Ushuaia. You will be dropped off at your hotel by 2:30 pm.

Important

Participants must bring long pants, waterproof jackets, and hiking boots. Additionally, bring a rucksack, water, gloves, a hat, sunglasses, and sun cream.
