Beagle Channel Day Trip + Lunch

Join us for a day trip from Ushuaia to explore the Beagle Channel, including a visit to the home of the only fisherwoman in the area and a seafood lunch.

Activity Details

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Ushuaia and head north toward the Beagle Channel. Our first stop will be at Victoria Lagoon for refreshments, followed by a stop at Brown Bay to see the flag trees affected by the winds.

Next, we will arrive at Puerto Almanza, the main king crab fishing port in the Beagle Channel. From there, we will walk approximately 1 kilometre to reach Diana’s house, the only female captain in the region. Diana will share her story and explain her decision to lead a solitary life in this remote area, reconnecting with nature as an artisanal fisherwoman.

Upon our arrival, Diana will provide insight into the local gastronomy, explaining how traditional Beagle Channel dishes are prepared using ingredients sourced from the sea.

We will then enjoy a 4-course menu along with a glass of wine and water. After the meal, we will return to your hotel in Ushuaia, concluding the trip approximately 8 hours after pickup.
