Explore the landscapes of Tierra del Fuego on this trekking route on Mount Susana. Discover the beauty of the Beagle Channel and Navarino Island.

Description

At the appointed time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ushuaia and drive to a trail in the Tierra del Fuego National Park, where we'll start our hike on Mount Susana.

During this 8-kilometre (5-mile) hike, we will ascend slopes of up to 400 metres (1312 feet). We will make several stops to enjoy the Fuegian landscape and take photos. After approximately 2 hours, we will reach the summit of Mount Susana at an altitude of 610 metres (2000 feet).

From the summit, we will enjoy panoramic views of the Beagle Channel and the shores of Chile, including the islands of Hoste and Navarino. After taking in the views, we will begin our descent.

During the descent, we will have views of the Darwin mountain range and the Tierra del Fuego National Park. We will stop halfway down for a picnic lunch, which includes a sandwich, chocolate pudding, and an apple.

After lunch, we will complete our journey back to the trail's starting point. Our transport will be waiting to take us back to Ushuaia. Approximately 6 hours after pickup, we will arrive back at your hotel.
