Sunset Trip to Escondido & Fagnano Lakes

After pickup from your hotel in Ushuaia, we'll travel in an off-roading vehicle across Tierra del Fuego's Andean landscapes during sunset.

The tour starts by passing through the industrial zone, where we'll learn about local history, followed by a visit to River Olivia and the mountain of the same name. Prepare your cameras!

Next, we’ll reach the Carbajal Valley viewpoint for scenic views of glaciers. After enjoying the sunset here, we'll proceed on Ruta Nacional 3 toward the Haruwen Winter Resort and its Museum of Motorbikes, where you can explore the collection.

We'll then head to the Paso Garibaldi viewpoint, to take in views of Escondido Lake while enjoying a snack. Following this, we will start our off-roading adventure.

With seatbelts fastened, we'll navigate the winding road through the forest, passing Los Álamos and La Carmen estates, and arrive at Fagnano Lake, where you’ll have free time along the coastline.

A visit to a traditional beaver den is next, followed by a stop at restaurant El Rancho for a 3-course dinner featuring empanadas, patties, a vegetable side, and dessert, with a drink included.

Finally, we’ll return to your hotel after a total of 6 to 7 hours.
