Tierra del Fuergo 4-Day Hiking Adventure

Day 1: Ushuaia - Carabajal Valley - Heart Lagoon

This adventure begins with a hotel pickup in Ushuaia and a trip to Valle Carabajal. The trek through the Sierra Valdivieso starts from here, leading through forests and peat bogs to Beban Pass. After crossing the gorge, we descend through diverse landscapes, taking a break midway for refreshments. The trek continues to Corazón Lagoon, where dinner and overnight accommodation in a mountain camp await.

Day 2: Corazón and Mariposa Lagoons - Lake Fagnano

After breakfast at the camp, we will hike through Paso de las Cinco Lagunas, a scenic trail noted for its reflective waters and stunning mountain views. A break at a viewpoint provides an opportunity to appreciate Mariposa Lagoon before descending to Lake Fagnano (Khami Lake) for dinner and camping.

Day 3: Fagnano Lake - Paso de las Cinco Lagunas - Carabajal Valley

We start the day with breakfast at camp and trek back to Paso de las Cinco Lagunas, enjoying mountain views. After reaching the final lagoon and taking a break, we cross another pass and descend to Carabajal Valley for camping, dinner, and lodging.

Day 4: Carabajal Valley - Ushuaia

After breakfast, we trek back through Sierra Valdivieso to the trailhead. This full circuit covers 64 kilometers (40 miles) with an average of 16 kilometers (10 miles) per day. Following lunch, we return to Ushuaia, arriving at your hotel by 3 pm.

Lodging and meals

The tour includes three nights of lodging in mountain camps, with accommodation in tents. Meals consist of three breakfasts, four lunches, and three picnic-style dinners served in nature.
