Our journey begins at your convenience at Eco Camping Jacamar, conveniently situated on the outskirts of Útica.

After a succinct orientation session, we will equip ourselves with all the necessary riding gear before embarking on a remarkable equestrian expedition. This tour takes you across picturesque ravines and nature paths in the vicinity of Útica.

Our equestrian trek will follow the Gualivá River, where we will traverse various mountain pathways leading us to a location rich in fossils. Notable findings by palaeontologists in this region include remnants of ammonites, along with other significant prehistoric species.

Throughout the journey, we will delve into the fascinating history of these ancient creatures: What did the landscape look like billions of years ago? What key species roamed this area? Join us to discover the answers! Additionally, we will take in the breathtaking green vistas of Cundinamarca, Colombia.

After approximately 50 minutes of riding through this stunning environment, we will conclude our adventure by returning to our starting point.
