Pulacayo Trip
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Uyuni at the indicated time and head to Pulacayo, located just 6 miles (9.6 km) from Uyuni.
This small town still preserves the old iron locomotives that were used to transport silver from the mines. During the tour, we'll hear about bank robbers Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid and their connection to this place.
As we stroll through this open-air train museum, we'll learn about the importance of Pulacayo's mining wealth, which spurred economic development for the country in the early 20th century.
After exploring Pulacayo, we'll set off for Tomave, noted for its monumental colonial church and rugged landscapes. Then, we'll continue to the hot springs of Tomave in the Altiplano region.
Our next stop will be the Warmy Kasilla green lagoon and the Orqo Kasilla light blue lagoon, located at almost 5,000 metres (16,404 ft) above sea level.
After 10 or 11 hours of touring Pulacayo, we'll return to Uyuni and drop you off at your hotel.
