Travel back in time with this trip to Pulacayo where we'll visit the historic train museum and the village of Tomave to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Altiplano.

Pulacayo Trip

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Uyuni at the specified time and head toPulacayo, located just 6 miles (9.6 km) from Uyuni.

This small town preserves old iron locomotives used to transport silver from the mines. The tour includes the history of bank robbers Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and their connections to this location.

As we explore this open-air train museum, we will learn about the significance of Pulacayo's mining wealth which contributed to the economic development of Bolivia in the early 20th century.

After visiting Pulacayo, we will travel to Tomave, known for its colonial church and rugged landscapes. We will then proceed to the hot springs of Tomave situated in the Altiplano environment.

Next, we will visit the Warmy Kasilla green lagoon and the Orqo Kasilla light blue lagoon, located at nearly 5,000 metres (16,404 ft) above sea level.

After a tour lasting 10 to 11 hours, we'll return to Uyuni and drop you off at your hotel.
