Uyuni Salt Flat & Tunupa Volcano 3 Day Tour

On this 2-day tour, we'll admire the Uyuni salt flat, the largest salt desert in the world. Enjoy a sunset, see the Tunupa volcano, and visit several Andean villages.

Description

Day 1

Upon pickup from Uyuni Airport, we'll head towards the salt flat, stopping at the Train Cemetery to view abandoned locomotives. Next, we'll visit Colchani, where we'll explore the local market and a salt processing plant. Afterward, we'll arrive at the Uyuni salt flat for a walk, seeing salt piles, water holes, and monuments, including one for the Dakar Rally. We'll visit the world's first salt hotel and have a picnic lunch on the salt flat. Following lunch, we'll hike Incahuasi Island, famous for its giant cacti, to admire panoramic views. We’ll conclude the day watching the sunset over the salt flat before settling into our hotel for the night.

Day 2

After breakfast, we'll travel to Coqueza, located on the Tunupa volcano. At the base, we can choose between a vehicle ride or a hike for panoramic views of the salt flat. After exploring, we’ll return to the hotel, stopping to appreciate the area's natural beauty.

Day 3

After enjoying breakfast, we’ll prepare for our return journey and travel back to the airport, concluding this adventure.
