Uyuni Salt Flat & Tunupa Volcano 3 Day Tour

On this 2-day tour, we will explore the Uyuni salt flat, the largest in the world, enjoy a sunset, view the Tunupa volcano, and visit several Andean villages.

Description

Day 1

We will pick you up from Uyuni Airport and head towards the Uyuni salt flat. Stops include the Train Cemetery, featuring abandoned locomotives, and the village of Colchani with its local market and a salt processing plant. We will walk through the Uyuni salt flat, known for holding 60% of the world's lithium reserves, and see the Dakar Rally monument. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed on the salt flat.

After lunch, we will visit Incahuasi Island to hike and enjoy panoramic views. The day concludes with hotel check-in and a sunset experience on the salt flat.

Day 2

We will start early with breakfast before heading to Coqueza, a town near Tunupa volcano, to appreciate the scenery and learn about its Andean name. From the foot of Tunupa, we will have options for vehicle transport or hiking for excellent views of the salt flat. After exploring, we will return to the hotel, stopping to enjoy natural sights.

Day 3

After breakfast, we will prepare for our journey back to the airport, concluding the tour.
