Uyuni to San Pedro de Atacama 3-Day Tour

On this 3-day tour to San Pedro de Atacama, travelers will traverse the Bolivian region of Uyuni in a 4x4 vehicle and explore its main attractions, including the famous Salar de Uyuni, the Museum of Trains, and the Colorada and Verde lagoons.

Description

Day 1: Uyuni

The tour begins on Calle Colon, where participants will meet and board a 4x4. The first stop is the Museum of Trains in Uyunia, featuring historical steam-powered machines. After that, travel to Colchani, the entry point to Salar de Uyuni, for a chance to see local handicrafts. Participants will enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the vast salt landscape and visit Incahuasi Island for panoramic views. The night will be spent in Candelaria or San Juan.

Day 2: Uyuni Lagoons - Huayllajara

Following a continental breakfast, the group will head to Eduardo Abaroa National Reserve to explore various lagoons and desert scenery. After lunch in San Juan, the tour includes visits to Cañapa, Charchota, Honda, and Hedionda lagoons, home to pink flamingos. The day concludes with a visit to the Colorada lagoon before returning to the hotel.

Day 3: Huayllajara - San Pedro de Atacama

The final day features breakfast before visiting geysers and unique rock formations in the Salvador Dalí Desert. After traversing the desert, the group will arrive at Verde Lagoon and Blanca Lagoon, near Licancabur Volcano. The tour concludes with a return to Chile and a drop-off at the central station in San Pedro de Atacama around 1 pm.

Accommodation
