Tour Description

Pickup is arranged from your hotel in Arugam Bay, followed by a tuk-tuk ride to Pottuvil, located in the district of Ampara with a lagoon surrounded by nearly 200 acres of mangrove forest.

Following a 10-minute safety briefing, you will embark on a 2-hour safari boat ride on the Pottuvil Lagoon. A guide will provide insights on the flora and fauna of this coastal area of Sri Lanka.

During the trip, you will observe various species in the lagoon, including crabs, shrimps, and a variety of birds. Additionally, elephants bathing and crocodiles swimming through the mangroves will be highlights of the experience. This tour promises memorable sights.
