At the scheduled time, we will meet at the Fonte Baxa Garden to start our guided tour through this forest of Luarca. We will observe species such as camellias, rhododendrons, holly, yews, birches, cedars, and chestnut trees.

Prepare to explore one of the largest private botanical gardens in Europe. We will share its history and interesting facts about its owner and founder, the Marquis of San Nicolás de Noras, José Rivera y Larraya.

The tour will include visits to iconic points within the garden housing plants from around the globe. This journey will take you from Spain to regions like Japan or Lebanon.

Additionally, we will encounter various art installations in the garden, including a fountain from the House of Alba, Roman columns, and the portico of a convent. The tour lasts approximately 2-2.5 hours, concluding back at the starting point.

Tour with a Picnic

You can enhance your experience by booking the tour option with a picnic, which includes a portion of homemade meat or tuna pie, a sausage roll, a piece of fruit, a sweet, and water or soft drink. The picnic will be provided at the end of the visit for you to enjoy inside the Fonte Baxa Garden.
