On this guided tour of Valdivia, we will discover the history of the capital de Los Ríos, one of the first cities founded by the Spanish in Chile.

Upon arrival at the indicated time, we will meet at the Feria Fluvial on Valdivia Waterfront to begin our guided walking tour around the center of the city.

Our first stop will be Plaza de la República, where we will discuss Valdivia's colonial era and its history. We will continue our stroll along the shores of the River Callecalle, viewing the Schuster Docks and Foucault's Pendulum.

Next, we will visit the Yungay Heritage Houses to admire their distinctive architecture and learn about their history. This will provide insights into why they are named as such.

After a 2-hour tour, we will conclude at the Torreón de los Canelos, where we will discuss the battle between the native Mapuches and Spanish conquerors in the region of Chile.
