At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Feria Fluvial on Valdivia Waterfront to start our guided walking tour around the city center. We will head to our first stop, the Plaza de la República, where we will discuss Valdivia's colonial era and its history up to the present day. After that, we'll stroll along the shores of the River Callecalle, visiting the Schuster Docks and Foucault's Pendulum.
Next, we will walk to the Yungay Heritage Houses, showcasing the unique architecture and learning about their history. Our guided tour will conclude after a 2-hour route at the Torreón de los Canelos, where we'll discuss the battle between the native Mapuches and Spanish conquerors in this region.
