Valdivia Guided Tour

On this guided tour of Valdivia, we'll explore the history of the capital of Los Ríos, one of the first cities founded by the Spanish in Chile.

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Feria Fluvial on Valdivia Waterfront to begin our guided walking tour around the city center.

Our first stop will be Plaza de la República, where we'll discuss Valdivia's colonial era and its history. The tour will continue along the shores of the River Callecalle, where we will view Schuster Docks and Foucault's Pendulum.

Next, we will visit the Yungay Heritage Houses to appreciate the distinctive architecture of these homes. During this segment, you will learn about their history and the origins of their name.

Finally, after a 2-hour route, we will conclude our guided walking tour at the Torreón de los Canelos, where we will discuss the battle between the native Mapuches and Spanish conquerors in this region of Chile.
