Valencia de Alcántara Offroad Tour

We'll meet at the designated time at the bullring in Valencia de Alcántara. Once we're all there, we'll get into an offroad vehicle and set off on a tour of two special places.

First, we'll travel through the Sierra de San Pedro to visit one of the most important megalithic sites in Europe. We'll walk among granite and slate dolmens more than 4000 years old, which are funerary in nature.

After visiting the archaeological site, we'll get into the 4x4 and head for Berrocal de la Data, the fifth natural monument in Extremadura. This 465-hectare area includes a group of granite rocks where the area's griffon vultures nest, surrounded by immense forests of chestnut trees, scrubland, and cork oaks.

Additionally, millenary cave paintings and five dolmens have been found on the site: Data I, Data II, Mellizo, Cajirón I, and Cajirón II. In this exceptional spot, we'll enjoy a picnic of typical products such as cheese and chorizo.

Finally, we'll return to the starting point in Valencia de Alcántara to conclude this 3-hour tour.
