Chulilla Day Trip

We will meet outside the MYR Hotel Puerta Serranos in Valencia at the designated time. From there, we will head to the Las Calderones Natural Site, near Chulilla.

Upon arrival at this natural area in the Los Serranos region, approximately 50 minutes away, we will embark on a trek through the spectacular canyon, one of the natural treasures of the Valencia region. The area features hanging bridges over the River Turia, which we will cross during our trek.

Next, we will proceed to Chulilla Castle, a National Historical Monument. We will climb to the top of the castle, originally built by the Moors and altered over time, particularly after the 14th-century wars between the Kingdom of Aragon and the Kingdom of Castile.

With the assistance of an expert guide, we will learn about the various uses of the castle throughout history and uncover its hidden secrets. The views from the castle are impressive.

Before returning, there will be an opportunity to explore the historic center of Chulilla, where you can relax or eat at your own expense.

Finally, we will return to the meeting point in Valencia, arriving 7 hours later.
