Holy Grail Tour

Did you know that Valencia is believed to be the home of the Holy Grail? Find out how it came to the city, and the legends surrounding the relic. We'll also take a walking tour of the city.

Churches and Holy Grail Tour

At 10 am, we'll meet at the Town Hall Square in Valencia. From this point, we'll start a route to discover the Holy Grail.

We'll delve into the history of this sacred chalice and discover how Valencia became a holy city. We'll learn about various stories and tales from the Knights Templar to Dan Brown's famous work The Da Vinci Code.

We will take a warm through the historic centre of Valencia until we reach the church of San Juan del Hospital. We will identify its connection to the Holy Chalice as we appreciate its exterior architecture.

The next stop will be in front of the house of Sabina Suey, who saved the Holy Grail of Valencia during the Spanish Civil War. Following this, we will visit Valencia Cathedral to see the chapel of the Holy Grail, where you can admire this coveted relic.

Finally, after two hours of sightseeing, we will conclude our tour at the Cathedral. Those who wish may stay longer to explore the rest of the monument and the Cathedral Museum.
