La Albufera Nature Park + Cullera Excursion

On this excursion, we'll visit La Albufera Nature Park and Cullera Nature Park, major tourist attractions on the Valencia coast.

Description

After meeting at the scheduled time on Calle de la Blanquería, we will start our journey along the Valencian coastline.

After 45 minutes, we will arrive at Cullera, a city with over 25,000 years of history. We will stop at the historic centre to learn about the significant political and social events that influenced its culture.

We will visit Cullera Castle, which is adjacent to the fortress and walls from the 13th century, and the Santuario de la Virgen del Castillo, while walking along the Camino del Calvario for impressive views.

Next, we will tour Playa de Los Olivos and Playa Del Racó, enjoying the Mediterranean atmosphere before heading to La Albufera Nature Park.

In La Albufera, we will explore rice paddies and learn about the origins of Valencian paella. We will take a stroll along the wetlands' banks, observing various birds as the sun sets, a sight described in Arabic poetry as the Mirror of the Sun. If time permits, a short boat ride may also be enjoyed.

After 7 hours, we will conclude the activity back at the starting point.
