Medieval Valencia Tour

The guided tour will commence at the Serranos Gate, built in the 14th century. This site is significant in Valencia's architectural history, which will be discussed during the tour. The conquest of Valencia by James I in the 13th century transformed the city, and these changes will be highlighted as we walk through the historic center.

The cathedral of Valencia is a primary landmark, featuring the Miguelete bell tower with a compelling history, which our professional guide will elaborate on. Architect Pere Balaguer contributed to the tower's construction and many other notable monuments in the city.

The iconic Llotja de la Seda (Silk Exchange) is another significant site. We will examine its façade, reflecting various architectural styles that underscore the city's commercial history and its importance to Valencians.

The tour lasts 2 hours and concludes in the Plaza de la Reina square, the city's central hub.
