Tour Details

We'll pick you up at the selected meeting point at the indicated time, and start our road trip to Peñiscola, a town located less than 2 hours from Valencia.

Upon arrival, we will tour the old town, which features examples of Muslim, Roman, and Templar architecture as we follow the layout of the ancient wall that protected the city.

Next, we will visit the Museum of the Sea and view the impressive Renaissance wall from the time of Philip II. We will explore its narrow streets, visit local shops, and see the Casa de las Conchas to learn about its decorative facade.

We will proceed to the Peñiscola Castle, situated on a rocky outcrop by the sea, which served as a palace and library for Pope Luna. The tour will provide insights into his controversial role in history.

Lastly, we will enjoy time along the beach of Peñiscola, giving you an opportunity to sample local gastronomy. We will return to Valencia after a full day, arriving 8 hours later.
