Sagunto Trip
At your chosen time, a vehicle will collect you from your designated meeting spot en route to Sagunto, a historic Roman settlement approximately twenty miles from Valencia. As you travel, you'll be introduced to some of the earliest Roman settlements in the region, transporting you back to ancient times.
Upon arrival in Sagunto, we will commence a walking tour to examine the enduring Roman structures within the city, starting with the impressive castle. This strategically positioned fortress on a hilltop was constructed for the city's defense against invasions.
Next, we will wander through the old town of Sagunto, known for its steep cobbled streets. You will feel the spirit of the Romans as we proceed to the legendary Roman theater of Sagunto, a prominent feature of the city. Remarkably, this was the first building recognized as a National Monument of Spain.
After taking in the stage and seating areas of this ancient theater, our visit will continue to the Casa dels Berenguer, the historical museum dedicated to Sagunto, or the Jewish Quarter.
In conclusion, we will return to your pickup location in Valencia after a satisfying 4-hour excursion.
