Valencia's San Jose Caves

Your tour starts with a pickup from a selected meeting point in Valencia city centre at the scheduled time. You'll head north towards Vall de Uxó, home to the largest cave system in the region. After about an hour, you'll arrive at San Jose Caves (grutes de Sant Josep), the largest underground caves in the Valencian Community.

To explore the cave system, you'll board a boat for a 55-minute cruise on the subterranean river. The tour includes viewing large galleries, stalactites, and areas like "The Cathedral" and the "Bat Room". Additionally, there will be a walking segment in the cave totaling 850 meters by boat and 200 meters walking through the dry gallery, where you'll learn about the caves' origins and history.

You will return to your starting point in Valencia approximately 4 hours after departure.

Pickup generally occurs between 8 and 8:30 am, regardless of your chosen booking time. Confirmations will be sent in advance.

Option for Cruise Passengers

Cruise passengers can reserve this trip with pickup directly from the cruise terminal. The itinerary will be similar to the standard tour. Additionally, the return journey will include a more in-depth panoramic tour of Valencia with a smaller group.
