Ticket Details
For centuries, Valencia was home to the Gremi de Velluters, producers of silk velvet. The silk industry was established by Genoese artisans in the 15th century, leading to a period of wealth for the city.
The Silk Museum presents the history of this trade, from discovery to breeding of worms and silk elaboration on looms. Notably, Valencia had nearly 5000 looms. Many curiosities will be revealed with this ticket.
During your visit, admire the tools and machines used in loom production, as well as samples of silk velvet and traditional costumes.
Museum Opening Times
The Silk Museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm and Sundays and holidays from 10 am to 2:30 pm.
Combo Ticket
Reserve the combo ticket to save money, which includes an audio guide in 5 languages (including English) to the Church of Santos Juanes, San Nicolás, and the Silk Museum. You have a month to visit these three monuments. Children under 12 years go free.
