Valencia Cathedral + Borgia Legacy Tour
The guided tour of the Borgia Family in Valencia starts at the designated time at Manises Square, in front of the Palace of the Generalitat. A brief introduction will be provided before beginning the route around the city in search of the Borgia Legacy. The Borgia family, originally from the region of Borja, settled in the Levantine coastal areas of Jativa and Gandia.
Throughout the tour, we will stop at various churches and palaces to appreciate their architecture and the symbols of the Borgia family. The Borgia family also had an art collection that includes pieces like the Holy Grail, explored during our visit to the Valencia Cathedral.
Inside the cathedral, we will continue to explore the Borgia family's legacy, as two members, Calixtus III and Alexander VI, became Pope. After 2.5 hours, the tour concludes at St. Lawrence Square, home to the current Valencian Parliament, located within the Palace of Benicarló, also owned by the Borgia family.
