The Señorita Malauva wine bar, located next to the cathedral of Valladolid, is notable for tasting the wines with Denomination of Origin of the province of Valladolid, such as Rueda, Ribera del Duero, Cigales, or Toro. Reservations must include one of the following options, each led by a professional sommelier who will explain the characteristics of the wines during a session lasting 1.5 hours.
Tasting of 4 Wines & 13 Cheeses
This option features a tasting of 4 wines with Denomination of Origin: a welcome vermouth, white from Rueda, a rosé from Cigales, and a red from Ribera del Duero. Each attendee will receive one glass of each D.O. wine. Additionally, participants will enjoy 13 different kinds of cheese from Castilla y León, including goat's cheese, saffron sheep's cheese, and others. Important: the last tour on weekends occurs from 7 pm to 8:30 pm.
Tasting of 4 Wines & Wagyu Beef
This option includes a tasting of 4 wines: Vermouth, Rueda, Ribera del Duero, and Cigales, with guidance on their nuances and aromas. Each attendee will have one glass of each D.O. wine. To complement the wines, participants will have Wagyu beef carpaccio and Wagyu pastrami jerky.
Tasting of 5 Wines & 13 Cheeses
This option features a tasting of 5 wines with Denomination of Origin: Rueda, Cigales, Ribera del Duero, Toro, and Tierra de León, accompanied by a tasting of 13 kinds of cheese from Castilla y León.
