The Chichikan ecotourism park, located 5 minutes by car from Valladolid in the Yucatan Peninsula, features a cenote and numerous green areas where you can learn about pre-Columbian society and culture.

Your entrance includes access to a Mayan village, offering interactive experiences. Following a park guide, you can make tortillas or chocolate and learn to play a traditional Mayan ball game.

After these activities, you can swim in the Chichikan cenote, a Yucatan lagoon considered sacred by pre-Columbian peoples, allowing you to appreciate its natural landscapes.

Following your swim, a delicious traditional lunch awaits at the Chichikan restaurant, featuring a typical dish and dessert.

Opening hours

Chichikan is open daily from 9 am to 6 pm. Guided areas require a reservation for specific times, available every 15 minutes from 10 am to 4 pm.

The approximate duration of the Mayan experience is 45 minutes, and the cenote visit is estimated at one hour. Including lunchtime, the total duration of your stay in the park will be between 2 hours and 45 minutes and 3 hours.
