Las Coloradas and Ek Balam Trip
Pick up is from your hotel in Valladolid between 7 and 7:30 am. We will travel to Río Lagartos for a 2-hour boat ride on the Lagartos River.
During the boat ride, we will explore this environmental reserve, observing flamingos, herons, and pelicans. Following the boat ride, you can enjoy a traditional Mayan mud bath. A typical lunch with a variety of regional dishes will also be provided.
At 12:30 pm, we will proceed to the archaeological site of Ek Balam. This Mayan village features walls, pyramids, arches, and a pre-Columbian ball game. After the visit, free time will be available for you to explore the site at your own pace.
We will conclude the tour with a return to Valladolid, arriving back at your hotel around 5:30 pm.
