Las Coloradas and Ek Balam Trip

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Valladolid between 7 and 7:30 am before heading to the picturesque municipality of Río Lagartos, where we'll enjoy a 2-hour boat ride on the Lagartos River.

First, we'll explore this protected environmental reserve on the boat, observing the flamingos, herons, and pelicans that inhabit it. Afterward, you can take a traditional Mayan mud bath, beneficial for the skin. Following this, we'll enjoy a typical lunch with a choice of regional dishes.

At 12:30 pm, we'll continue the tour to the archaeological site of Ek Balam. In this Mayan village, you'll see walls, pyramids, arches, and a pre-Columbian ball game. After the visit, you will have free time to explore the remnants of this civilization at your own pace.

We will conclude our tour by returning to Valladolid, arriving back at your hotel at around 5:30 pm.
