Las Coloradas and Ek Balam Trip

Pickup is available from your hotel in Valladolid between 7 and 7:30 am, followed by a trip to Río Lagartos for a 2-hour boat ride on Lagartos River. During the ride, you will observe flamingos, herons, and pelicans in this protected environmental reserve. A traditional Mayan mud bath will be offered at the end of the excursion. A typical lunch with several regional dishes will follow.

At 12:30 pm, the tour continues to the archaeological site of Ek Balam, where you will see walls, pyramids, arches, and a pre-Columbian ball game. After the visit, you will have free time to explore the site at your own pace.

Finally, the tour concludes with a return to Valladolid, arriving back at your hotel around 5:30 pm.
