Trip to Las Coloradas and Ek Balam

Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel in Valladolid, scheduled between 7:00 and 7:30 am, before we set off towards the charming town of Río Lagartos. Here, you'll embark on a delightful 2-hour boat journey through the captivating Lagartos River.

We'll navigate this protected ecological reserve, allowing you to witness the splendid flamingos, herons, and pelicans that call it home. To enrich your experience, you’ll also have the chance to indulge in a traditional Mayan mud bath, a wonderful rejuvenation for your skin. Following the boat ride, a selection of regional dishes will be served for lunch.

At approximately 12:30 pm, refreshed and energized, we will proceed to the remarkable archaeological site of Ek Balam. Here in this ancient Mayan village, you'll encounter impressive structures including walls, pyramids, arches, and even a pre-Columbian ball court. After our guided visit, you will have some free time to further explore the remnants of this extraordinary civilization at your leisure.

Concluding our day, we will return to Valladolid, with an expected arrival back at your hotel around 5:30 pm.
