Diomedes Díaz Private Tour

This option highlights the most significant locations in Diomedes Díaz's life. The first stop is at the Mamá Vila house, where the artist's childhood is discussed. Next, you will visit the cemetery of the singer's loved ones.

Then, we will head to the village of La Junta, his birthplace, where we will see Cacique's Park with a sculpture of the composer and a small walk of fame of his discography.

The tour continues at the Ventana Marroncita Museum, which recounts the love story between Diomedes Díaz and Patricia Acosta. Afterward, we will visit the Carrizal Museum and the Museum of Rosa Elvira Díaz, Diomedes' daughter. A break for a typical lunch of the Colombian Caribbean coast will occur before returning to Valledupar.

Juglares Vallenatos Private Tour

This tour encompasses both Diomedes Díaz’s life and the history of the Juglares vallenatos, notable vallenato artists in Colombia.

Starting in La Jagua del Pilar and Urumita, the birthplace of “Gota Fría,” we will visit the Museo del Vallenato in Villanueva, and the Museo Carrizal for a cultural understanding of each artist's contributions. A stop for a typical lunch will happen before concluding the tour in Valledupar.
