Cachagua Island Penguin Watching

At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Viña del Mar and head north. We will travel along the road parallel to the Pacific Ocean, passing through Reñaca, Concón, and the mouth of the Aconcagua River.

Our destination is Zapallar, where we'll board a fishermen's boat and set sail for Cachagua Island, home to one of the most significant Humboldt penguin colonies in Chile. During this 1-hour boat trip, we will also see pelicans, seagulls, and ducks, highlighting the island's biodiversity.

The boat trip concludes at Zapallar dock. Next, we will visit a local empanada bar where you can enjoy this Chilean delicacy along with a drink of your choice—either a soft drink or mineral water.

After the snack, we will return to your hotel in Viña del Mar, with a drop-off scheduled for 3 pm.
