Funicular Tour of Valparaiso

We will pick you up from your accommodation at the indicated time before starting our tour of Valparaiso, known for its funicular railways that run up the hillsides. We will explore different neighborhoods using these historic elevators.

During the tour, you will learn about the origins of this form of public transport and ride on one of the oldest in Valparaiso. The itinerary includes visits to Barrio Puerto and Cerro Cordillera with its Cordillera and San Agustin funiculars, providing views of the hillside.

Next, we will visit Cerro Alegre and its Concepción elevator, the first to be inaugurated, which leads to an important viewpoint of the city, offering a scenic panorama of the coastline.

At the end of our tour, we will have ridden in the seven funiculars in Valparaiso that are still in operation today and explored the hills they connect with. This tour lasts approximately 4.5 hours.
