Funicular Tour of Valparaiso

We'll pick you up from your accommodation at the indicated time to start a special tour of Valparaiso, known for its funicular railways that run up the hillsides. We'll explore different neighbourhoods in these historic elevators.

During the tour, you'll learn about this public transport's origins and have the chance to ride on one of the oldest in Valparaiso. We'll visit Barrio Puerto and Cerro Cordillera with its Cordillera and San Agustin funiculars. Witness them climbing the hillside.

Next, we'll go to Cerro Alegre with the Concepción elevator, the first inaugurated, which connects to a major viewpoint of the city. Enjoy a panorama of the coastline.

By the end of the tour, you'll have ridden on the seven funiculars in Valparaiso that are still operational today, exploring the connected hills. The tour concludes back at your hotel after 4.5 hours of activity.
