Musical Valparaiso

We'll meet at Plaza Sotomayor at the scheduled time to kick off our music tour of Valparaíso, recognized by UNESCO as a Creative City of Music.

Our journey will begin with a stroll to Cordillera Hill, the birthplace of poets and singers. A local musician will accompany us, sharing insights into the musical history of this coastal Chilean port city.

The main musical genres featured are cueca chora and bolero, leading us to the Port neighborhood. With iconic buildings as our backdrop, our guide will perform a popular repertoire from the port. To enhance the experience, we'll enjoy a glass of wine or beer.

Next, we will visit Liberty, the oldest bar in Valparaiso, founded in 1897 and a renowned gathering spot for musicians and locals. Our 4 hour tour will conclude as we return to our starting point.
