Valparaiso Walking Tour

We will meet in Plaza Sotomayor at 2 pm to begin our tour of Valparaiso's main attractions. The city is known for its colorful houses and scenic views over the sea.

The tour starts on one of the city's famous funicular railways, which have been in operation for over 100 years, connecting the lower city to the hilltop areas. We will explore Alegre Hill and Concepción Hill, walking through the streets and ascending steps to enjoy stunning city views.

Afterwards, we will take another funicular train back to Plaza Sotomayor. Here, a trolleybus will take you around the historic center. Some of these vehicles, over 50 years old, are recognized as National Monuments.

The highlight of the tour will be aboard the Artillería funicular, which provides some of the best views of the city. Bring your camera! The tour concludes at Paseo 21 de Mayo around 5 pm.
